Role Purpose

We have an amazing opportunity to join an awesome venue management team as a Production Manager. Co-op Live will welcome a variety of live events and artists from all over the world to perform on the Co-op Live stage. You will play a pivotal role in leading the production operation, where the music has never sounded so good and fans have the most amazing live event experience.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead for production management of allocated events
  • Complete AutoCAD drawings for event plans
  • Know your budget and event costs
  • Lead positive planning and relationship building with with promoters and touring technical staff in the lead up to allocated events
  • Management of venue crew, riggers and production staff during fit-up and get-out
  • Oversee any format changes between events, working closely with the facilities management team, venue crew and other contractors
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and SLA’s for suppliers and contractors
  • Support the Senior Production Manager with the statutory maintenance and inspection schedule on all production equipment

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience with drafting and adapting plans in AutoCAD
  • Understanding and experience of rigging set ups
  • Able to interpret and communicate technical and production requirements
  • Experience managing and supervising production teams
  • Experience in a range of production disciplines
  • Excellent communicator
  • Able to influence and inspire others
  • Commercially astute with sound financial management skills
  • Results focused, driving exceptional results through the operations team and others
  • A team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment

Desirable

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Understanding of the Construction, Design & Management (CDM) Regulations 2015
  • Rigging certification
  • Touring experience
  • Experience of overseeing large complex event productions

The role is working 5 days out of 7 including evenings and weekends around live events

Salary: £40,000 – £48,000
