About the job

Seatlab aims to build on the success of our current SaaS product and create the next generation of event ticketing, utilising blockchain and NFT technology.

As a QA tester, you will be working in the core of crypto and Web3 innovation, testing our development features and supporting the wider team in releasing new products to market. A person with a keen interest in emerging blockchain technologies and a history of proven QA experience would thrive in this position.

The end goal is to have an integrated team member that understands all of our products and can take ownership of ensuring what we are releasing is of the highest quality.

About you

Ideally, you will have…

  • Experience in creating, maintaining and executing detailed and comprehensive test cases using manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Performed thorough regression testing to ensure software quality is maintained.
  • Great communication skills and be able to feedback to internal and external stakeholders as well as the wider product development team on your findings through testing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources.
  • A dynamic and innovative mindset and be able to problem-solve with minimal supervision.
  • Experience testing user stories with both android and iOS operating systems.

Nice to have…

  • Event ticketing experience.
  • Previous experience working in a start-up environment or small team where you have created and implemented new business processes.
  • Knowledge of Blockchain technologies, Web3 or NFT products.

Responsibilities

  • You will be primarily conducting manual tests, whilst working on implementing a more automated test procedure within the Agile product development teams.
  • Your work time will be spread across the catalogue of Seatlab products including any client specific applications and platforms.
  • Work with the Technical Director and Product Owner to improve testing processes and to reduce the amount of bugs through rigorous testing protocols.
  • Ensure any client-specific features are tested thoroughly and comply with the original brief along with any front-end design needs of the customer or stakeholder(s) are met.
