Sales and Revenue Manager £45,000 p.a. FULL-TIME contract

Founded over 30 years ago, Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s Delfont Mackintosh Theatres Ltd owns and operates eight of the most prestigious theatres in London’s West End: the Gielgud, Noël Coward, Novello, Sondheim, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, Victoria Palace and Wyndham’s.

The Sales and Revenue Manager will be part of a team maximising sales and revenue across our shows; assist with the preparation and enabling of new shows to go onsale; and monitor, analyse and report on sales for all shows.

About the role

The Sales and Revenue Manager will be part of a team maximising sales and revenue across our shows; assist with the preparation and enabling of new shows to go onsale; and monitor, analyse and report on sales for all shows.

Main Duties

  • Manage, maintain and maximise sales and revenue for all shows
  • Work closely with the Ticketing Managers and Box Office Supervisors to maximise sales and revenue at alltimes
  • Devise and implement sales strategy for productions alongside the Head of Sales and Ticketing andTicketing Managers
  • Provide sales analysis of current productions, and distribute reports as required from the ticketing systemand bespoke data analytical software
  • Provide historical sales analysis, annual wrap reports and final production reports
  • Create and manage total seaters
  • Create each show’s specific price matrix to track sales and highlight appropriate price changes, in order to maximise revenue
  • Assist with the set-up of events by collating all onsale information and creating precise and accurate documentation for use by the ticketing systems team and other departments
  • Maintain inventory/yield management reports
  • Liaise with and support producers, marketing agencies and ticket agents
  • Monitor agent API sales to maximise sales through the ticket agents whilst ensuring tickets at all prices are available via the box office
  • Attend sales and marketing meetings as required
  • Comply with all DMT policies and represent the company with diplomacy, discretion and courtesy at alltimes, safeguarding all confidential information.
  • Maintain an awareness of DMT as part of the Cameron Mackintosh Ltd group of companies andundertake any other reasonable duties as required.Person Specification
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an advanced knowledgeof Microsoft Excel
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
  • Knowledge of ENTA (or other ticketing systems) and data analytical software
  • Experience within a ticketing environment
  • Highly motivated, organised and pro-active individual
  • Ability to prioritise workload and react to an ever-changing environment and pace
  • Good account management and client relationship skills
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of West End theatre / entertainment industryPrincipal Terms and ConditionsSalary: £45,000 per annum
