POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst will play an important role in enhancing current FP&A processes. Helping to build the organization’s financial support in a dynamic structure. More than simply being an analyst reporting data, the role is one that engages within the financial environment of the Company’s Divisions.

The Senior Financial Analyst’s responsibilities include assisting the divisions with planning and budgeting processes, analyzing individual/consolidated financial statements and reporting. You will be responsible on developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership.

ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide FP&A support for the team, including financial planning, budgeting/forecasting, reconciliations, settlements, and financial analysis.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining financial models and detailed forecasts of the company’s future operations. Support business case analysis to support various initiatives.
  • Work closely with leadership and project managers to prepare pre-event and compile all related expense documents in preparation of settlements.
  • Collaborate with Accounting Team for Structure and adherence to GAAP.
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures/policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Generate time reporting dashboards for internal and client/contractual requirements.
  • Recommend and align targets.
  • Support as needed all audit and internal control operations
  • Special Projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Retain constant awareness and proactive to prevent problems. (Ongoing Risk Awareness)
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration Accounting.
  • 2-5 years of related proven experience as a Finance Analyst, Sr Financial Analyst or similar role; agency and/or entertainment industry experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and MS Power Apps. Advanced level of Excel expertise.
  • Proven experience in Financial Modeling
  • The candidate should be proficient in English and Spanish both written and verbal.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Good interpersonal skills, along with the ability to collaborate across entire organization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in an environment of change
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation), interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  • Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo – always thinking of ways to improve business and profitability
  • Experience interacting regularly with executives and senior managers involving complex situations, difficult decisions, or influencing and persuading other managers and peers
  • Passionate individual willing to immerse him/herself in their work.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, management and time management skills with the ability to effectively set priorities to achieve role required tasks on a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, listening and presentation.
  • Strong operational capabilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant:

· Incumbent will be mostly sitting down in front of a computer.

Occasional:

· Standing and presenting.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Able to complete multiple duties with accuracy while shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
  • Fast paced environment with peaks of intensity and increase in workload.
