The role of the Sports Event Manager is to collaborate and communicate with other departments, businesses, and individuals to organize, execute and manage events efficiently and within budget throughout the main phases: Planning, Executing and Analysing.
Job Description
ORGANISATION OF RED BULL EVENTS / PROJECTS
Efficiently deliver national-level events and projects either on your own or by briefing and supervising fitting partners (freelancer/event agency).
MANAGE, EXECUTE AND REVIEW A PORTFOLIO OF RED BULL SUPPORTED THIRD-PARTY EVENTS
Responsible for the delivery and execution of National third-party events & projects ensuring they are on time, on budget, with KPI’s met and with all necessary legal & administrative requirements covered.
SUPPORT SPORTS MARKETING TEAM IN BUILDING PLANNING AND REVISION CYCLES
Contribute to the development of future plans with new event concepts and ideas that are tailor-made for regional and national consumer groups, offering an ‘Only Red Bull can do’ experience.
CONTRIBUTE TO BUSINESS GROWTH THROUGH SPORTS MARKETING OWNED EVENT ASSETS
Develop new and maintain existing strategic relationships with businesses, individuals and government organizations in line with our business’ long-term vision and priorities.
MANAGE RED BULL BRANDED INFRASTRUCTURE
Responsible for budgeting, ordering & managing Red Bull event tools, working with 3PL logistics partners to ensure we always have the right tools at the right places.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 year’s event management experience.
- Experience in designing and organising events and projects of all scales with an integrated event marketing approach.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in leading agencies and other partners. (frequent contact with different suppliers, agencies, leading staff at events, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of Australian sporting event landscape.
- Experience in establishing & strengthening commercial partnerships.
