Strategic Account Manager, Vendini – San Francisco

Responsibilities

Negotiate renewal contracts; research and preparation, fee negotiation, and contract administration. Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the business contact for the decision maker on all assigned accounts.
  • Understand member business plan
  • Optimize business position through successful agreements.
  • Drive revenue growth through member expansion and referral farming
  • Partner with Customer Success during life of account to assure that technical solutions to business problems are provided
  • Draft contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations. Ensure accuracy of contract preparation.
  • Develop outbound strategies for early engagement of strategic renewal accounts.
  • Work with sales leadership to connect referrals back to the new business team.

Standards of Performance

Success is determined by the quality of business agreements, and retention rate.

  • Retention of assigned book of business measured quarterly
  • Completion of Periodic Business Reviews with assigned portfolio of customers
  • Grow targeted referral market through assigned accounts
  • Drive feature adoption/upsell for current customers

Competencies/Skills/Abilities

Detail-oriented with interest in interacting with a wide range of people, discussing the finest details of their business. Ideal candidates are personable and self-motivated, with knowledge of customer service and business contracting.

  • Experience winning competitive deals in head to head scenarios
  • Previous experience and/or competence working executive-level contacts
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Top level written and verbal communication ability
  • High attention to detail with excellent listening skills
  • Creative problem ­solving abilities
  • Understanding of complex finance and revenue calculations
  • Expert knowledge of the ticketing and event space

Other Requirements

General full time employment requirements.

  • Able to travel up to 50%
  • Able to work full time; M-F, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
  • Outside employment or contract commitments not permitted.

Authority

Authorized to approve limited fee changes, and bonus and credits.

  • Fee adjustment projections up to 0.05%
  • Bonus or Credit limited to $10,000.00 AND less than 0.05% of Gross Contract Value.
