CTS Eventim and its partners have been selected to supply ticketing technology, access control, customer service and know-how to Paris 2024.
THE JOB
The technology manager will help coordinate and implement the delivery of the ticketing system and services for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this role, you will be working closely with the Eventim project team, the client, and other key stakeholders. The technology manager will focus their time on providing a single point of contact for all technology-related matters for the client. You will be responsible for project coordination for all technology-related aspects of the project, including planning and issue tracking, ensuring timely project execution. You will take the lead in developing and maintaining the main technical contract documents, infrastructure planning, availability monitoring, cyber security, management of technical infrastructure, and system architecture designs. Additionally, the technology manager will also be the main point of contact for EVENTIM’s technical teams working from headquarters in Germany.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Project Management: Identification and scheduling of main contractual milestones, maintaining project plans and work plans to track the progress of all technical aspects of the project. Authorship of regular project management reports and participation in regular project steering committees along with other members of the project team.
- Contracting: Drafting, maintaining and coordinating the execution of main contractual documents for technology.
- Office IT and infrastructure: Management and oversight of hardware and software used by the local project team. Responsible for IT onboarding for new Lot 1 core team employees. Coordination of landline & mobile telephony. Managing activities related to local internet communication at- and in cooperation with the Paris office. Supporting activities related to Lot 1 core team’s VPN & firewall clearances as expert of current setup.
- Ticketing infrastructure: Management of regular performance and security penetration testing, planning & Documentation of testing results, Regular creation and distribution of system monitoring & availability reporting, coordinating regular system maintenance windows, coordinating regular backups and replication of data to staging and pre-production systems.
- Manging 3rd party connectivity with the ticketing system: Coordination of VPN & firewall clearances, VPN tunnels, Azure.
- Assisting the client with planning and deployment of Games time technology.
- Providing ongoing technical support and facilitation of ongoing support.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Excellent project management methodology with leadership capabilities
- Experienced in delivering scale multi-site technical operations, ideally with experience from the live event or ticketing industry
- Skilled in the scoping and deployment of client-server systems
- Excellent communication skills and persuasive in gaining agreement between all team members
- Proficient in system and infrastructure modelling, documentation
- Excellent issue and conflict management with experience handling availability disruptions and service level achievement
- Excellent understanding in performance management testing including load and stress testing of applications used under high demand online sales conditions
- Skilled in technical contract design, negotiation, and implementation
- English language essential. French, German and/or Italian would be a plus

Base salary: Depending on experience
