Ticket Operations Manager – Orlando Venues
NATURE OF WORK:
Performs responsible supervisory and administrative work managing and executing ticketing operations, event builds, event maintenance, seating manifests, floor sets and final ticket office statements for settlement across a wide range of activities and events (excluding NBA and ECHL events). Responsible for coordinating all ticketing event information between the promoter, venue personnel and the ticketing provider in a timely manner. Maintain communication with ticketing provider and responsible for accurate inventory of all tickets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field plus four (4) or more years’ experience in ticketing management, preferably in major league sports (NFL, NBA, MLS, MLB) or a large-scale entertainment venue; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience with Ticketmaster Host and/or Archtics database is required.
Essential Skills:
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests, and train all ticketing personnel in customer service standard.
• Ability to provide leadership, engage in positive interactions with staff and guests, prioritize, organize, motivate staff, problem solve, delegate, follow-up and communicate, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with the implementation, reporting, and generating of event reports.
• Experience reconciling issues between ticket sales and the finance department.
• Skill and working knowledge of computerized ticketing operations and software (Ticketmaster, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), guest relations & phone etiquette, long term and immediate decision making, verbal / written communication, accounting / cash management procedures.
• Ability to multi-task daily, be organized, detail oriented, self-driven, forecast issues and handle last minute projects to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
