COMMERCIAL TEAM

JOB PURPOSE

Supporting in maximizing all event ticket sales and wider revenue streams through accurate reporting and optimal product visibility, as well as contributing to an efficient ticket distribution.

Develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders championing Silverstone values and behaviours.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn and develop advanced use of the ticketing system, the online customer journey and buying process.
  • Assist in the production of event sales updates, charts, analysis, dashboards and other reports including final reconciliations (where required). Using data and reports from various sources, to produce consistent and accurate reporting for all even ticket activity and the wider venue revenue streams including meeting spaces and track events.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and points for Flagging any issues with purchase paths, reports, or any other anomalies to the department lead.
  • Understanding the end-to-end reporting processes and suggest any improvements and continuously seeking to maximize the use of the technology in minimizing the use of manual processes where possible.
  • Assist with ticketing enquiries (internal and external) in a timely manner with the highest level of customer service. Acting as a customer care champion in resolving customer enquiries so their needs and future business is secured.
  • Place group bookings in the ticketing platform, ensuring all held tickets are paid for so no revenue opportunities are missed due to unused inventory. As well as supporting the ticket distribution process for such bookings.
  • Liaise with internal departments to obtain ongoing accurate briefings of current events.
  • Develop relationships with key clients, accounts, and stakeholders (Executive leadership team, agents, coach companies, Fl teams) amongst others.
  • Work on-site at events including weekends and evenings when required, as part of the ticketing resolution team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Knowledge of data interpretation, manipulation, and sales reporting.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools e.g. Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Beneficial to demonstrate knowledge and experience of live events, ticketing/ticketing systems with previous Secutix use desirable.
  • Advantageous to have knowledge on the workings of conference and events venues.
  • Excellent numeracy skills with exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in using excel at intermediate or above level.
  • Ability to take ownership and problem solve, is proactive and self-motivated.
  • Excellent eye for detail, with strong organisational, time management & interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Distinctive, professional and a warm personality
  • Fluent in written & spoken English with strong communication skills.
