What is Ticketing Operations? We are an office-based support function and team within the wider ATG central Ticketing Department, and we are behind the scenes whenever you buy a ticket. Day-to-day we focus on configuring events in our ticketing system, working in close collaboration with each other and multiple colleagues in Ticketing to achieve maximum sales potential and work to the deadlines in our service level agreement. We also support venue Box Offices and Ticketing colleagues with ticketing system troubleshooting, and work closely with producers, promoters and various stakeholders across the business to co-ordinate the on-sale process; it’s our responsibility to ensure all aspects of the ticket sale process are prepared correctly in time for the date the show goes on sale. The team is made up of a core group of Ticketing Operations Assistants who set up events in our ticketing system, as well as a group of senior Specialists who focus on special projects and the most complex shows. The team is office-based and does not work directly with the public; our customers are the producers and promoters bringing shows to our venues and our Ticketing and Sales colleagues.
