As the organiser of some of the biggest and most iconic sport events in the world we lead the way in the sport and event industry.

We are now looking for a Ticketing Project Manager that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission.

These are your key tasks:

  • Supporting the Ticketing Project Management team in strategic project management and delivery of ticketing projects
  • Establishing project plan including time critical milestones
  • Preparing and conducting RFP processes in compliance with FIFA procurement and other applicable policies
  • Managing and monitoring the deliverables of ticketing ICT solutions
  • Managing the project delivery schedule
  • Managing the ticketing budget
  • Coordinating the project with all involved FIFA functional areas
  • Managing and monitoring the implementation of sales processes, ticketing launch and related administration such as legal documents
  • Acting as the Ticketing Project Lead for ticketing projects such as (and in particular) FWWC23
  • Supporting the growth of the Ticketing Project Management team with development of ticketing policies and procedures.

The specific competentencies we require for this position are:

  • University degree, sports marketing or equivalent
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale and/or international events as well as project management.
  • Proven track record and 5-10 years of experience in the ticketing area for bigger sports events, experience in event management, venue operations and onsite operations is a must
  • Extensive understanding of basic legal contracts in the ticketing area, 3-5 years’ experience in ticketing handling and product management
  • Strong affinity for digital platforms and IT systems
  • Experience in using a ticketing and/or hospitality system for sports events
  • Good negotiation skills and the ability to keep to deadlines/reach milestones
  • Highly proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Fluent English, any additional languages is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, technology minded
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to maintain one’s commitment to an activity or project and to complete it irrespective of any obstacles
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Ability to adapt to circumstances, contacts, new working methods and tools while remaining productive in different or ambiguous situations
