We are looking for someone to strengthen the team in charge of organising the biggest women’s sporting event in the world: the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia New Zealand 2023™. 

To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a local FIFA subsidiary (LFS).  Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women’s World Cup™, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas. 

We are currently looking to recruit our 

Ticketing Resolution Assistants – Australia 

Depending on location, this role requires a number of shifts between 20 July 2023 and 20 August 2023. Shift schedules will be released closer to tournament time. 

Job responsibilities 

Stadium based, the Ticket Resolution Assistants will be the main point on contact for customers at the Ticketing Resolution Points at Stadiums. You are there to efficiently deal with any ticketing related customer query. 

You must be ready to take initiative, responsibility and be a proud representative of the Ticketing team for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.  You will provide first-level support for on the day ticket queries at all stadium ticketing facilities. 

Job duties 

  • Provide first-level support for on the day ticket queries at all stadium ticketing facilities using the online FIFA Ticketing system and following the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 policies. 
  • Provide support to customers who need help with mobile ticket activation at stadium ticketing facilities on the day. 
  • Assist in managing queues at ticketing facilities to ensure a smooth and efficient process. 
  • Coordinate with other ticketing staff and stadium personnel to address on the day customer needs and provide assistant when needed. 
  • Provide guidance and assistance to customers with special needs or accessibility requirements on the day of the event. 
  • Accurately fill out reports for all ticketing issues, customer queries, and other relevant data as needed. 
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Be ready to take initiative, responsibility and be a proud representative of the Ticketing team.

Role Specific Requirements 

  • Aged 18 or over  
  • Available for all Match Days. The minimum number of shifts during the tournament will depend on the host city; 
  • Able to speak at least intermediate English; 
  • Consent to undertake and successfully complete Security Background Check(s); (*and FIFA safeguarding course) 
  • Have confirmed accommodation and ability to get to/from venues in your Host City;  
  • Attend an online interview (times/dates to be confirmed);  
  • Agree to complete scheduled training commitments (times/dates to be confirmed);  
  • Be able to attend uniform and accreditation collection and venue training in July 2023 in your Host City).  
  • Previous Ticketing/Box Office/Customer Service experience is a strong plus.
