WA Cricket is currently seeking a proficient ticketing professional for cricket matches and events held at the WACA Ground and Optus Stadium.

About the Role

The Ticketing Specialists will coordinate and supervise end to end ticketing operations for all International (Men’s & Women’s), Big Bash League (Men’s & Women’s) and domestic cricket matches held in WA, as well as any other ticketed event at the WACA Ground.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the event builds throughout the sales cycle, including pricing, product, venue configuration, seating plans and maps for all International (Men’s & Women’s), Big Bash League (Men’s & Women’s) and domestic cricket matches held in WA, as well as any other ticketed event at the WACA Ground.
  • Ongoing inventory management of the entire venue including Members, to maximise opportunities to sell products.
  • Lead all ticketing builds and services in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ticketing agents and venues.
  • Manage the collection, allocation, and distribution of all stakeholder ticket requirements in a timely manner.
  • Lead at-match operational ticketing services for at all International (Men’s & Women’s), Big Bash League (Men’s & Women’s) and domestic cricket matches held in WA, as well as any other ticketed event at the WACA Ground including but not limited to staffing of box offices (where required), signage, holds and key information is provided to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and make recommendations to improve ticketing processes and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Data & Insights Specialist and the Financial Analyst to ensure that the appropriate reporting and data analysis is in place to identify daily ticket sales as well as short- and long-term audience development strategies and trend analysis.
  • Undertake timely and accurate pre match, at match and post-match attendance reporting and reconciliation including reforecasting and actuals.
  • Research and ensure awareness of local markets and opportunities to identify trends and gaps in ticket prices and sales to promote cricket and drive attendance and awareness.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • Previous experience within a major event or premium sporting organisation which offered a wide range of ticket and package options
  • Previous experience in planning for and delivering ticketing sales and operations in the Australian sports marketplace with essential experience with box office procedures
  • Experience working in an organisation that offers membership purchase platforms, as well as a large volume of tickets
  • Experience in the preparation and writing of ticketing plans and associated ticketing reports
  • Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment, with competing priorities, stakeholders and deadlines
  • Display sound decision-making skills to solve problems and conflicts effectively whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, planning and scheduling skills
  • A demonstrated and strong commitment to exceptional customer service
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of ticketing software, including Ticketek’s Aspect, Ticketmaster’s PCi/TM Host and Ticketmaster Archtics
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word and Excel
