Job Summary:

We’re on the look-out for a Tour Operations Manager to join our Tour Operations on a permanent full-time basis. This role will be based in our Auckland office, working remotely to the existing team based in Australia. Reporting into the Head of Tour Operations, you will be responsible for leading the Tour Operations and Ticketing aspects across designated tours with a focus on maximising revenue generation through inventory management and creative ticketing solutions.

 

As the Tour Operations Manager you will:

 

  • Assist in general day to day requirements of the Promoters, including but not limited to project managing individual tours and developing initial tour pricing
  • Booking on-sale plans, completing ticket builds, confirming production, managing on-sale period, reporting, overseeing event day/night, post-event settlement
  • Observe ticket sales and proactively work with Promoters to ensure availability of inventory at all times and proper dressing of the house
  • Identify revenue driving opportunities to maximise tour profit
  • Distributing guest lists, management of ticketing operations at venues as required including box office issues, venue/seating inspections, optimising the house, reporting
  • Review and execute venue contracts against tour budgets
  • Complete and circulate Tour Confirmations and Itineraries to relevant departments, ensuring each departments needs are met for a successful tour launch

 

The inherent requirements of this role require a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend work from time to time.

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a ticketing role and sound knowledge of Ticketmaster and Ticketek platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The confidence to lead and give clear direction both internally and externally
  • Strong computer skills including Excel & Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as part of a team, in a fast paced environment
  • Organisational skills and the ability to multitask are essential
  • A positive attitude, with enthusiasm and willingness to learn
