The mission is as follows:

  • The mission of Ticketing (TICK) is to maximise ticketing revenues and optimise attendance at all matches through a fair and transparent system, which provides value for money for all spectators in a safe and festive environment.
  • The LOS Venue Ticketing Manager will be overall responsible for the implementation of the Ticketing project in his/her UEFA EURO 2020 venue.

Key Responsibilities

Communication and cooperation:

  • Regular liaison with UEFA project team
  • Main contact for the TICK venue team, including the
  • Ticket Access Control Manager Close collaboration with the overall venue team and the stadium operator
  • Participate to daily venue meetings
  • Regular reporting in accordance with UEFA EURO 2020 requirements

Workforce responsibilities

  • Train and lead the TICK venue team
  • Prepare the documentation used for the volunteers training
  • Participate in the volunteers training
  • Monitor the activity of the volunteers and report any issues to the volunteer manager

Event-time Responsibilities

  • Overall responsible for match day preparations & operations
  • Troubleshoot problems concerning ticketing as they arise
  • Support/liaise with safety and security and access control services
  • Supervise the set-up and dismantling of TICK facilities
  • Liaise with any appointed service providers
  • Satisfy all customer ticketing needs at the venue and provide excellent customer service

Administration

  • Define the split of responsibilities and produce shift plans for all persons involved in TICK operations
  • Daily liaison with the UEFA TICK project team
  • Prepare post-tournament report on venue activities

Profile of successful candidate

Must-have requirements

  • Experience of 5 years in ticketing or in major international sports events
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full professional proficiency in English (both oral and written) and in the local language of the venue
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Organized, service-oriented and resistant to stress

Additional requirements

  • Good network within football market especially in the venue’s country
