We are looking for a Video and Event Production Team Lead to join our Internal Communications team at Spotify. This team delivers technical event support, audio production and video production across multiple locations in a fast-paced, technology based global environment. We provide executive level support for global Town Halls, provide a full production service for both video and audio. Some examples of our work include: narrative videos, event videos, product or training videos and podcasts. We manage broadcasts, studio shoots, live mix audio and lights for both in-house and external bands, run a range of different events both in house and offsite, train internal users how to self-service and provide post-production services in an ‘end-to-end’ support package. We’re currently producing virtual events for a fully remote workforce, and will support both live and virtual events when our offices re-open.

This person will be part of a global team who will need to be aware and manage troubleshooting of various systems including but not limited to networks, video and audio equipment, video shoots and live performances. You will be supported by teams located in Stockholm and London so strong communication and time management skills are a must.

What You’ll Do

    • Work as part of a global team, and keep daily contact to make sure strategy and alignment remain on a global scale
    • Develop talent and skill-sets amongst team members
    • Track and build insights from process and platform analytics across multiple disciplines
    • Sync with a global leads team on strategy, process alignment and team building
    • Support technical event planning and coordination with stakeholders, vision mixing, audio mixing for multiple live events (local and global) with a multi-camera setup
    • Guide stakeholders through pre-production of video and audio projects, with a treated script and set deadline
    • Produce and execute polished and exciting video productions with a Spotify voice
    • Create digital assets for live and video productions
    • Maintain and build working agreements with external production vendors
    • Make sure stage equipment, video conferencing systems, and other IT/AV related equipment in our event areas are functioning for all employees
    • Project manage AV, Video and Live Band crews for offsite live streaming productions
    • Provide staff training sessions on use of equipment on an as-needed, ongoing basis
    • Build written/video support training materials for staff and comprehensive documentation for internal troubleshooting
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Proactively handle issues when they occur and follow up to assure completion
    • Recommend improved workflows to better processes and efficiencies
