US rapper Lil Baby has cancelled a number of shows for his upcoming arena tour, reportedly due to sluggish ticket sales.

According to a report from Billboard, seven dates were removed from the original 32-stop line-up without an explanation. Supporting artist The Kid Laroi has also been cut according to the article, though GloRilla, Gloss Up, Rylo Rodriguez and Hunxho are still set to perform.

The ‘It’s Only Us’ tour is due to start at Houston’s Toyota Center on July 26 and is produced by AG Entertainment Touring and Mammoth.

However, according to the Ticketmaster website, shows in Phoenix (August 1), Sacramento (August 9), Salt Lake City (August 14), Denver (August 15), Pittsburgh (September 5), Indianapolis (September 6) and Louisville (September 8) have been cancelled.

A notice from Ticketmaster said: “Unfortunately, the event organiser has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund. It will be processed to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, once funds are received from the event organiser, which is usually completed within 30 days.”

The tour update also included two new shows in Philadelphia (August 29) and New York (August 30).

Variety reported that ticket sales charts on Ticketmaster showed venues for pre-existing dates such as Memphis (September 7) and Seattle (August 12) as less than half-sold, while the strongest sales were in Los Angeles, where the majority of seats have been filled.
