Switzerland’s Taylor Swift fans have paid the most for a ticket to the American singer’s Eras Tour, according to Swiss newspaper NZZ am Sonntag.

The cheapest ticket for Swift’s concert in Zurich in July 2024 set fans back 167.50 Swiss francs (£149/€174/$192), which the newspaper claims is the most expensive cheapest ticket in Europe.

For example, the article revealed that Polish Swift fans attending the concert in Warsaw paid four times less than those in Switzerland – the equivalent of roughly 43 francs.

Oliver Niedermann, chief executive of Ticketcorner, which organised the advanced ticket sales for the concert, told the newspaper that the ticket prices were more expensive because production costs were higher in the Switzerland than in other countries.

Two shows in Zurich went on sale in July and are almost completely sold out, with the city’s Letzigrund Stadium being smaller than other typical venues on Swift’s tour at a 45,000 capacity.
