Iron Maiden has sold 42,000 tickets in just 21 minutes for their first concert in 13 years in Bogota, Colombia at El Campín Stadium next year.

With the show scheduled for November 24 – some 11 months away – promoter Move Concerts claimed this was the first gig in Colombia to sell out so far in advance. According to the promoter, the speed of the ticket sell-out has beaten previous international acts including The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Madonna, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd.

The English heavy metal band were only beaten in terms of ticket sales by Colombia’s own Karol G, who recently performed two sold out shows in Medellín.

Iron Maiden are also due to to play two shows in Chile, at the 60,000-capacity Estadio Nacional in Santiago on November 27-28.

Move Concerts revealed that more than 95,000 tickets had been sold so far for those dates.

Iron Maiden’s 2024 ‘Future Past World Tour’ will also include shows in the US and Canada, with stops in Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Toronto, Quebec, Philadelphia, San Antonio and more.
