NBA All-Star hospitality costs up to $10,000

NBA basketball fans are for the first time to be offered VIP packages usually reserved for major sponsors and broadcast partners at this season’s All-Star Game.

QuintEvents, an official hospitality provider to the North American league, has announced 11 package options that range in price from $899 (€847/£708) to $9,649.

The packages offered for the game, which is to take place in New Orleans in February, include tickets to a variety of premier NBA All-Star events at Smoothie King Center including the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge, State Farm All-Star Saturday Night and the 66th annual NBA All-Star Game.

Ticket packages also offer access to NBA Events' exclusive hospitality venue, which will be open prior to State Farm All-Star Saturday Night as well as pre- and post-game on matchday. The hospitality venue includes an open bar, gourmet buffet and meet-and-greets and oncourt photos with NBA legends.

QuintEvents is the official travel package provider for the NFL Superbowl and the Kentucky Derby and Breeders’ Cup horseracing events.

Meanwhile, general public tickets for the 2017 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four sold out on Monday in record time. The Final Four, which features Europe’s four best basketball teams, will take place at the 14,800-seat Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul in May.

EuroLeague said tickets sold out in 90 minutes, with most buyers hailing from Turkey, followed by Spain, Greece, Israel and Germany.
