Navy on board with StubHub

 

Ticketing provider StubHub has signed a multi-year agreement with the Naval Academy Athletic Association in the US.

Under the deal, StubHub will be the exclusive ticket marketplace of Naval Academy athletics and teams. The agreement is in partnership with Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement, a provider of ticketing and marketing services.

The Navy deal includes ticketing and sponsorship rights for all on-campus American football and men’s basketball events. The agreement builds on the provider’s position as a major partner of more than 40 top-tier US universities.

StubHub’s integrated platform will allow Navy season- and single-game ticket-holders to resell tickets.

“We believe that this partnership will provide our department with the tools to welcome new fans to our games while at the same time providing unparalleled customer service to our current ticket holders,” Navy ticket operations spokesman Matt Munnelly said.

As part of the agreement, StubHub will receive sponsorship and marketing rights, including digital and in-venue advertising and hospitality for on-campus American football and men’s basketball events, plus co-branded email and social media promotions.
