Ticketfly adds Z2 Entertainment to Colorado portfolio

Ticket distribution service Ticketfly has expanded its network in the US state of Colorado with the addition of live venue company Z2 Entertainment, according to Billboard magazine.
 
Under the agreement, Ticketfly will begin selling tickets for events for Z2 live music and entertainment venues, which include the 1,000-capacity reserved seating Boulder Theatre and the 625-cap GA Fox Theatre.
 
Ticketfly, which was acquired by Pandora last October for $450m (€402m), has similar partnerships in place with Colorado-based venues, such as The Marquis, The Summit Music Hall, the Denver Botanic Gardens, the Soiled Dove, Cervantes, the Black Sheep and the Aggie Theatre.
 
Andrew Dreskin, founder and chief executive of Ticketfly, said: “There's a pretty interesting national story unfolding here; you're starting to see a pattern, we're making waves in middle markets across the country.”
