Ticketmaster Germany has appointed Petra Streffer as its new sales director of music and entertainment.
Streffer has ticketing experience from her time at CTS, where she started in 1994, as well as from spells with EPM/Ticketworld and Xing Events.
In her new role, Streffer will be responsible for the sales department, based in Munich, and will report to Dr Klaus Zemke, managing director of Ticketmaster Germany.
“I am extremely pleased that we were able to bring Petra to Ticketmaster,” said Zemke. “Her expertise, excellent contacts in the music industry, and many years of experience will make us even stronger.”
Streffer most recently worked for software company Inovoo, but said she was pleased to be returning to the ticketing sector with Ticketmaster Germany.
“I am happy to return again industry in the ticketing and expand successfully through Ticketmaster to the music and entertainment with strong partners and organisers,” Streffer said. “I thank Klaus for his confidence.”
