AEG Presents has strengthened its new European festival division with the recruitment of Laura Davidson as head of artists bookings.
Davidson, who was previously a promoter based in the AEG/Goldenvoice London office, becomes the first senior appointment since Jim King was tasked with leading the new division earlier this month.
Davidson will be responsible for all bookings for the All Points East Festival. In addition she will support King across all existing AEG festivals and also future developments in the area.
“Laura will be an integral part of the team and I couldn’t be happier that she has joined us,” King said.
“She is one of the most passionate music fans that I have ever met and has proven herself to be expertly skilled in the role of originating and curating incredible festival line ups.”
All Points East is a music festival held over two weekends once a year in London’s Victoria Park, run by AEG Presents. The 10-day event comprises two weekends of major music acts and four days of free entry and community activities known as In the Neighbourhood.
The 2019 event featured The Chemical Brothers, The Strokes and Mumford & Sons.
AEG Presents’ European Festivals division also looks after Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park and the Rock En Seine in Paris events
