French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is selling premium NFT (non-fungible token) tickets for its first tour of Japan in 27 years.
To commemorate the visit, NFT tickets will be available until Wednesday (July 13) with three currently available: Royal VIP Room NFT Digital Ticket PSG vs Kawasaki Frontale; Royal VIP Room NFT Digital Ticket PSG vs Urawa Red Diamonds and Royal VIP Room NFT Digital Ticket PSG vs Gamba Osaka.
Benefits include VIP parties and meet and greets with PSG players. Each ticket costs around 180.3 ETH in cryptocurrency or 30,000,000 yen (£183,000/$219,000/€217,000).
On its Japan tour website, PSG said: “Messi, Neymar, Ramos, Marquinhos, Verratti…all player superstars. In the summer of 2022, Paris Saint-Germain, one of the best football clubs in the world, will tour Japan.
“To commemorate their first visit to Japan in 27 years, we will be offering premium NFT tickets and commemorative NFTs that you can only get here and now.”
PSG is also offering commemorative NFTs in the form of videos from players, the club’s new jersey and videos from the tour.
