Fabrikus World utilises Connect&Go solution

Connect&Go, the integrated attractions management solutions and RFID technology provider, has partnered with Fabrikus World in the South of France.

The Montreal-headquartered company will provide its Konnect all-in-one management platform, which will enable the theme park to power a seamless experience through technology and real-time data.

By utilising the Konnect platform and a new integration with Dormakaba Alvarado, an access control company, Fabrikus World has been able to improve security and entry.

Previously, the fixed fairground had open access and utilised paper ride coupons but now guests pay a nominal fee to enter the park and purchase digital tokens called ‘Fabcoins’. These tokens are then used to access rides, food and beverage items.

Visitors just need to tap their RFID media at strategic entry points with the appropriate number of tokens deducted and access granted.

The new access control integration has helped Fabrikus World reduce its staffing requirements and power convenient access throughout the park. Fabrikus has also implemented Konnect’s photo platform so that fans can keep a capture of their time at the theme park.

Jean Champetier, co-owner of Fabrikus World, said: “Connect&Go’s highly flexible and integrated technology has helped us completely reinvent our park operations. With the Konnect all-in-one management platform, we can improve our ROI and create a more engaging guest experience.”

Dominic Gagnon, chief executive of Connect&Go, added: “We are thrilled to support Fabrikus World as they embark on this exciting new phase of growth for their operation. From Europe to North America and beyond, we are helping our clients streamline their operations with connected technology. We are passionate about helping them embrace the future, now.”
