Tixr has been named as the preferred primary ticketing partner of the American Association of Professional Baseball (AAPB).
The ticketing platform will begin handling events for the AAPB this year as part of a multi-year deal, with the league serving as a Major League Baseball partner league.
AAPB commissioner Joshua Schaub said: “Ensuring a positive fan experience is one of the cornerstones of our mission here at the American Association. Selling a ticket is our first point of contact with our fans, so having a modern, flexible, and mobile-first ticketing partner is crucial as we continue to grow our league.
“Tixr’s platform checks all the boxes, so we are excited for our teams to consider them as a preferred partner.”
The Santa Monica-headquartered commerce technology provider has also worked with sports organisations such as LIV Golf, Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, Riot Games, Professional Pickleball Association Tour, Lake Placid Olympic Center, Progressive American Flat Track, Bell Bank Park and the Danbury Hat Tricks.
Tixr vice-president of sports Nate Liberman added: “Tixr is honoured to join forces with the American Association. Our partnership will help foster stronger relationships between the teams and their fans and help the AAPB continue to grow and thrive.”
