Kylie Minogue’s Las Vegas residency sold out within hours of tickets going on sale, with reports of a crashed website and a 700-hour queue.

The Australian signer is due to begin an intimate run of shows at new venue Voltaire inside The Venetian Tower in November. Minogue last performed a major show some four years ago, after the pandemic ruined her world tour plans.

According to the Evening Standard, demand for tickets to the new run of shows led to the website crashing during the on-sale.

Tickets started at $200 (£157/€182) for standing tickets, with prices rising to $2,000 for bottle service tables.

The first 10 dates went on sale earlier this week, with the digital queue reported to be over 700 hours long.

Minogue’s residency at Voltaire is set to run until January 2024.

The singer will be the first headliner to grace the stage at Voltaire, which is set to open later this year. The Venetian’s website said the club will blur “the lines between an intimate club, concert and non-stop entertainment venue”.
