Italian Serie A club Juventus has announced today (Friday) that away tickets for league and Coppa Italia matches at Allianz Stadium will be capped at a maximum price of €45 (£38/$49).

The move follows a similar, recently announced scheme for away fans across LaLiga clubs in Spain.

Juventus said it is the first club in Italy to adopt this measure, and hoped that other teams would follow suit to benefit its own travelling supporters and other away fans.

The club added that it would like to see Serie A implement the measure league-wide.

Juventus will begin its season away at Udinese on Sunday.

In England, a £30 cap on Premier League away tickets has been in place since the 2016-17 season. The cap was extended last year and is set to be reviewed in 2025.
