The Dallas Wings WNBA team has sold out its season ticket membership allocation for the first time in its history.

A waitlist for season tickets has been set up, with benefits including pre-sale access to 2024 WNBA Playoff games, as well as an opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to select 2024 regular-season games.

Season ticket memberships account for roughly 40% of the 6,251 seats inside the Wings’ current home College Park Center, while remaining seats have been designated for single-game, group or flex plan tickets.

Ticket sales and the growth of women’s basketball have influenced a future move from Arlington to a larger arena in downtown Dallas.

City of Dallas Council recently approved a 15-year, $19m (£15m/€18m) use agreement for the Wings to feature at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas Memorial Arena from 2026. The agreement is currently pending approval by the WNBA.

The Wings have seen an overall ticket sales revenue increase of 220%, as well as an increase of more than 1,200% for individual ticket sales revenue.

Atlanta Dream also recently announced that it had sold out its season ticket allotment, becoming only the second team in WNBA history to do so behind the Las Vegas Aces, before the Wings joined the list.
