Los Angeles’ Center Theatre Group is targeting an audience engagement boost after partnering with True Tickets.

The non-profit company is one of the largest theatre operators in the US. Its major venues include the 2,100-seat Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum and the Kirk Douglas Theatre.

Through the True Tickets partnership, patrons will be able to access contact-free, secure digital ticketing and its ticket management service.

Meghan Pressman, the theatre group’s chief executive, said: “Center Theatre Group has such a rich and storied history, and we’re proud to work with a partner who will provide us with best-in-class ticketing technology as we move into the next chapter of entertainment and audience engagement.”

True Tickets’ service integrates into the Tessitura Network’s CRM system, which is used by hundreds of arts and cultural institutions around the world.

Ken Lesnik, head of business development at True Tickets, said: “For over half a century, Center Theatre Group has entertained and inspired audiences as one of our country’s most iconic theatre companies.

“We are thrilled to partner with this Los Angeles institution to innovate the ticketing experience for its patrons — making it a process that’s safe, convenient, and secure from the time the ticket is purchased to the moment the ticket holder steps through the door to attend a long-awaited show.”
