Ticketmaster will remain as the exclusive ticketing partner of the European League of Football (ELF) until 2029, thanks to a new multi-year partnership.

The European League of Football is an American football league consisting of 17 teams across Germany, Poland, Spain, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Czech Republic and France. There are plans for the future to expand the number of participating teams to 24.

“This is a strong signal for the future of our league, and I’m delighted that a partner from the very beginning is staying loyal to us,” said Zeljko Karajica, managing director of the ELF.

“Ticketmaster believed in the potential of the ELF even before the first kickoff in 2021 – and we delivered. We will continue to work together to offer a customised platform that leaves nothing to be desired digitally for the football family. Ticketmaster is a valuable supporter, especially in view of the upcoming expansion of our league in Europe.”

Across the 2021 (under COVID-19 conditions), 2022 and 2023 seasons, the ELF sold almost 800,000 tickets via the Ticketmaster platform.

The game between the Hamburg Sea Devils and Rhein Fire in August attracted 32,500 spectators at the Volksparkstadion during the regular season, while the most recent Championship Game between Rhein Fire and Stuttgart Surge in September took place in front of a full house at the 31,500-capacity Schauinsland-Reisen Arena in Duisburg.

The fourth season of the European League of Football will begin in May 2024, with the Championship Game set for September 22 at FC Schalke’s 62,000-capacity Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
