People on the Move: TodayTix Australia, Lyte, and more…

TodayTix Australia has announced the appointment of Sarah Wilson (pictured left) for its newly created role of marketing director.

Wilson is moving from Live Nation Australasia where she worked as director of tour marketing. She brings a decade of live event marketing experience having worked on campaigns for tours including Fleetwood Mac, Dua Lipa, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

“We are thrilled to have someone of Sarah’s calibre join our incredibly talented Australian team,” said general manager of TodayTix Group Stephen Crocker.

“Her experience in the live entertainment industry is a huge asset, and I’m excited to see the continued growth of the business and the TodayTix brand in Australia, under her guidance.”

Wilson added: “It is fantastic to be joining the TodayTix team, and to have the opportunity to develop some exciting initiatives for the year ahead.”

Oak View Group has hired Iain Campbell (pictured right) as its executive vice-president of MENA (Middle East and Northern Africa).

Campbell was formerly group director – venue services at AEG Ogden and vice president operations Middle East at ASM Global.

“I am really thrilled to announce that I am starting a new position as Executive Vice President MENA at Oak View Group,” Campbell wrote on social media.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge and leading the region with the support of a forward thinking and dynamic organisation behind me.”

Chris Williams (pictured centre) has joined Lyte as its senior commercial manager for Europe after serving as partnerships manager at TicketSwap for two years.

The company has created an end-to-end solution that aims to put ticketing at the forefront of revenue generation for event organisers, Williams said.

Creative Artists Agency has promoted Lola Castillo MurphyHugh Parsons, and Matthew Rutledge to agents in its music touring department.

Murphy and Parsons were both promoted after completing the group’s Elevate training and practical development curriculum.

Benjamin Steen has joined football team Eintracht Frankfurt as its head of digital media.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to drive the digital strategy of a club so rich in tradition. I’m really looking forward to being part of a fantastic team and creating innovative ways to engage and inspire our fans regional and worldwide even more,” he wrote.

“I look forward [to] working together to shape the digital future of this unique and great club.”
