Finnish travel and event management firm Elämys Group has teamed up with hospitality sales veteran Starsquad.
Under the deal, a new company by the name of Elämys Live has been founded to offer corporate and consumer clients with personalised event experiences across sports, entertainment and culture.
Elämys Live provides event organisers with a sales, production, and marketing organisation as well as a chance to create additional services by packaging travel services together with tickets.
Clients can book logistics and accommodations through Elämys Live. It is an official hospitality partner of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships in Finland and sells VIP packages for the tournament, which will be played in Tampere and Helsinki in the spring of 2022.
Elämys Live’s parent company Elämys Group is an official incoming partner for the championships, taking charge of travel packages for international and domestic guests.
Elämys Live will be led by Jami Palsa, who was previously in charge of Elämys Group’s sports-related key clients.
The new company’s significant minority owner Starsquad is Finland’s leading specialist in hospitality services and sponsor relationships. Starsquad has sold more VIP event services than any other Finnish company and managed the hospitality sales and operations for countless concerts and entertainment events, including Neste Rally Finland, FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships, and the Urheilugaala award show.
After the founding of Elämys Live, Starsquad will continue its operations as developer and intellectual property rights holder of several events.
