ALDA Events, a Dutch promoter and organiser of dance music events, has linked up with ticketing specialist CTS Eventim to expand its operations into Germany.
The new ALDA Germany office will be based in Hamburg and led by the company’s co-founder, Allan Hardenberg.
ALDA Germany, which will be a joint venture between ALDA Events and CTS Eventim, will focus its efforts on staging events in Hamburg, as well as Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart.
ALDA Events’ head office is in Amsterdam, but the company also has offices in New York and Hong Kong.
“The interest in dance music is growing with our eastern neighbours at break-neck pace and there is great demand for innovative concepts,” Hardenberg said.
“It is not a surprise that our events already attract a lot of German visitors.”
CTS Eventim chief executive Klaus-Peter Schulenberg added: “ALDA has a wealth of knowledge and international experience in organising dance events. With the ever-growing interest in dance music in Germany, we form a great combination.”
ALDA Events operates tours of popular dance music DJs such as Armin van Buuren and Hardwell, and also organises events like The Flying Dutch, A Day at the Park, Electronic Family and AMF.
