ExtremeTix expands footprint

ExtremeTix, a ticketing solutions provider for the entertainment, arts and sports sectors, has expanded its reach in its home state of Texas.

The North American company has signed up a series of live music venues in the state, including Hurricane Harry’s, Banita Creek Hall and Masone’s.

These venues join existing ExtremeTix partners, including the Redneck Country Club, Armadillo Palace, Dosey Doe and City Limits.

“With the continual efforts to fine-tune our platform for both our clients and ticket-buyers, our mobile experience has shown substantial growth and better than ever adoption,” ExtremeTix chief executive and chairman Griffin Winn said.

ExtremeTix has invested significant resources in mobile and, according to Winn, the move has reaped rewards with almost half of all ticket purchases now completed via such devices, in spite of an increase in desktop purchases as well.

“ExtremeTix is proud of its technology improvements along with its employees, in supporting the live music venue space,” he added.
