Sports fans in South Korea can now enjoy professional baseball and football games for half price on the last Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of every month.
The country’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to extend ‘The Day of Culture’ this month from just Wednesday to also include the two other days.
Under ‘The Day of Culture’, attendees can get half off their ticket price when they buy designated seats. Professional volleyball and basketball games are also to be added later this year.
The government-backed scheme began in early 2014 when free admission was granted for exhibitions at art galleries and museums on the last Wednesday of each month.
