Cubs open up postseason draw

Chicago Cubs, the MLB baseball team, is holding a ballot that will give fans the opportunity to buy tickets for potential postseason games.

Cubs fans have until September 21 to register for the random draw for possible National League (NL) Wild Card Game and NL Division Series games at Wrigley Field.

The franchise said those who are randomly selected from all eligible registrants will have a one-time chance to purchase a maximum of four tickets to a potential NL Wild Card Game or NLDS game, pending availability.

Colin Faulkner, the Cubs’ senior vice-president of sales and marketing, said nearly 1.2 million people registered for the opportunity to purchase postseason tickets last year.
