TicketQuarter hits right note with music events

Liverpool-based ticketing agency TicketQuarter has landed a series of musical event contracts in the English city.

TicketQuarter has been named primary ticketing partner for The British Music Experience and Hangar 34. It is also partnering with Liverpool Olympia on an event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the landmark The Velvet Underground & Nico album, featuring band member John Cale.

The British Music Experience is a permanent pop music exhibition that will open in the city’s Cunard Building in March. Hangar 34 is a warehouse venue located in the Baltic Triangle area.

“We are pleased to confirm the ticketing for a selection of high profile musical events in the city,” said TicketQuarter head Henry Brown.

“For Liverpool to be chosen as the only European destination to perform the Velvet Underground’s massively influential album is a huge coup and for us to be one of the partners selling the tickets is a great opportunity. Similarly, The British Music Experience will be an iconic attraction and one TicketQuarter is proud to partner.”

“These latest wins show that we have built up a strong reputation in the entertainment market and can take care of all ticketing requirements for our clients.”

TicketQuarter is part of The ACC Liverpool Group, which encompasses the Echo Arena, and has partnerships with venues such as Aintree Racecourse and St George’s Hall. It provides support such as online ticketing and contact centre services.

Judith Owens, director of operations and deputy chief executive of The British Music Experience, added: “We look forward to working closely with our ticketing partner TicketQuarter and have complete confidence that the team will deliver our requirements.”
