Sports Travel and Hospitality Group has signed up as the new official ticketing and travel partner of Team GB, Britain’s team for the Olympic Games.
The partnership between the British Olympic Association (BOA) and STH Group will cover the 2018 Pyeongchang winter Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo summer Games.
Under the Team GB Live brand, STH Group will offer official travel packages for those wishing to travel to the Games in South Korea and Japan.
A series of fan engagement events will also be established, as well as other unique experiences.
The official launch of the packages will be unveiled in the middle of this year.
“In the coming months, we will work closely with Team GB to develop a range of new and exciting ways for the fans to get closer to their heroes and build a greater connection to our national Olympic team, cheering them onto even greater success in the coming years,” STH Group chief executive Simon Jefford said.
BOA chief executive Bill Sweeney added: “This is another fantastic addition to our already strong roster of partners. In creating this new partnership, we aim to offer a range of opportunities for our fans, from single tickets for sought-after events to full hospitality packages and a unique insight into the Olympic Games.”
