IMS unveils ticket design for Indy 500

Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials have unveiled the ticket design for this year’s showpiece IndyCar racing event, the Indianapolis 500.

The ticket was revealed yesterday (Thursday) at Cummins headquarters in downtown Indianapolis with Alexander Rossi, the winner of the 100th Indy 500 in attendance, according to WishTV’s website.

“Tickets always show a sort of an epic or iconic moment from the winner’s previous victory the last year, so fans should be excited the ticket really captures the moment of winning the 100th running, and I think the fans will really enjoy seeing what we did with it,” the IMS director of communications, Alex Damron, said.

He also said ticket sales are on track, and many fans have already renewed their tickets after the race last year. IMS will continue its tradition of a countdown leading up to the race, and officials said there will be several events over the next few months.
