New England Patriots are the biggest draw in the NFL ahead of the start of the 2017 season.
According to data from aggregator TicketIQ, the Super Bowl champions’ tickets are worth more on the resale market than any of their rivals.
The average price of a Patriots ticket is $655 (£505/€549), up 42 per cent year on year. Patriots tickets cost almost a third more than second-placed Denver Broncos at $501. Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys complete the top four.
Seattle Seahawks were top of the list ahead of the 2016 season but have fallen to fifth spot with an average price of $264 this time around. The 17 per-cent-drop marks the first time in five years that Seahawks ticket prices have decreased.
Over the last five years Atlanta Falcons tickets have seen the biggest rise in demand, having risen by 66 per cent in value.
