Ticketmaster Switzerland nets ice hockey deals

Ticketmaster Switzerland has entered into exclusive partnerships with three major ice hockey properties in its home country.

The company has teamed up with the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation, Hockey Club Davos and the Spengler Cup competition.

The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation’s deal with Ticketmaster Switzerland will begin in the summer of 2019. Under the agreement, Ticketmaster Switzerland will sell tickets for all home games played by the men’s national team, including preparation matches for the 2020 World Championships in Switzerland.

Hockey Club Davos and the Spengler Cup have also signed exclusive agreements with Ticketmaster Switzerland. Hockey Club Davos, which plays at the 7,080-seat Vaillant Arena, operates the Spengler Cup, which is considered to be the oldest invitational ice hockey team tournament in the world.

We’re excited to work with them on some of the most well-known events in Swiss sport, including the Spengler Cup which is the second largest sporting event in Switzerland.”

Ticketmaster launched in Switzerland in August 2017. The deals mark Ticketmaster Switzerland’s first foray into ice hockey.
