Kansas City Royals fans could win a free season ticket for the 2019-20 Major League Baseball season if they can hit a home run.
Fans who buy or renew an 80-, 41-, and 21-game package by October 26 will have a chance to hit a home run for their seats.
Any current eligible season ticket holder will have the chance to go on the field at Kauffman Stadium on November 1 to take a swing at five pitches from a pitching machine.
If the lucky fans can hit it out of the park, they will secure their 2019 season ticket capped at $10,000 in value.
The Royals have seen a 23 per cent drop-off at Kauffman Stadium after losing a host of players as of June. In 2017, the average attendance was 27,412 at Kauffman Stadium, which saw a steep drop this year to 20,609.
