Carolines Go Free for West End show

Free West End tickets are being offered to people called Caroline as part of a promotional gimmick being used by Hampstead Theatre’s ‘Caroline, or Change’ show.

The hit revival of the production will see those lucky enough to be called Caroline receive a complimentary ticket when buying one or more accompanying tickets.

The Carolines Go Free scheme is only available in person at the Playhouse Theatre box office or via the telephone.

‘Caroline, or Change’ is a through-composed musical with book and lyrics by Tony Kushner and score by Jeanine Tesori that combines spirituals, blues, Motown, classical music, and Jewish klezmer and folk music.

The show ran both Off-Broadway and on Broadway, as well as in London.

There is apparently no specification as to which of your names has to be Caroline to get a free ticket.
