Shovel snow for a free Bills ticket

The Buffalo Bills have offered free tickets to its upcoming NFL game in exchange for help shovelling snow off its field at New Era Field.

The franchise has asked anyone over the age of 18 interested in shovelling snow inside the stadium to show up at 9am this morning (Friday).

The team is hoping to get the field clear in time for the Bills’ Sunday 1pm kickoff against the New York Jets.

The Bills said in a statement: “Shovellers can shovel snow throughout the day on Friday and into the night on Friday if needed. Rate of pay is $12 per hour. Lunch and dinner breaks will be provided throughout the shifts in a comfortable warming area.

“In addition, a complimentary Bills football game ticket will be given to those that work a four-hour shift or longer.”

In 2017, shovellers were paid $11 per hour, meaning this year’s workers have gained a nine per cent raise.
