Vivendi Ticketing, which covers See Tickets (UK and US), Digitick and Paylogic, notched a record-breaking 20 million ticket sales in 2018 across the UK, Europe and the US.
The firm’s ticketing revenues hit €58m (£50.5m/$65.7m), which marks a 9.9 per cent increase from the previous year, likely boosted by the Paylogic acquisition in April.
Vivendi’s live entertainment sector saw a major rise in revenues of 94.9 per cent to €34m in 2018. This was supported by its acquisition of Olympia Production that saw 1,100 shows by 32 music artists and comedians.
Vivendi’s group revenues also increased to €13.9bn, a rise of 11.3 per cent on 2018, with earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation climbing 33 per cent, to €1.29bn .
These numbers were heightened by a major quarter for Universal Music Group, whose revenues grew to over €6bn.
