Dundee FC extends Tickets.com partnership

Scottish Premiership football club Dundee has extended its partnership with Tickets.com to integrate a new ticketing system.

As part of the five-year agreement, Dundee will migrate across to the ticketing firm’s ProVenue platform.

The new system, which will manage all ticketing requirements for the top-tier Scottish side, will go live this summer, in time for the 2019/20 season.

ProVenue offers ticketing and marketing processes that will improve the fan experience, but also provides extensive data capture to help the club analyse trends to enhance engagement.

ProVenue’s inventory control will also permit the club to sell tickets across a multitude of sales points and ticket agents, with all inventory managed centrally using in-built access functionality.

The migration across to ProVenue will also support any future move to a new stadium.

Dundee’s ticket manager, Neil Cosgrove, said: “This would be a big step forward for Dundee FC and we need to be confident in the technology and infrastructure

that we have in place to support the club’s growth; the switch to ProVenue is very much a part of this.”

Dundee, which has been a Tickets.com partner since 2010, will use the new fully hosted solution’s advanced features including MyProVenue, a next-generation web application entirely devoted to optimising the fan’s desktop and mobile ticketing experience.

Cosgrove added: “At Dundee, we are dedicated to enhancing the experience for our fans and ticketing is central to this.

“ProVenue and MyProVenueTM will not only improve the digital experience for the customer, but they will support our sales and marketing efforts and provide the club with a ticketing solution that underpins our aims and objectives for the future of Dundee FC.”
