US-based low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines has teamed up with Irish firm Coras to sell event and activities tickets across the US, Canada, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Coras enables online brands sell tickets for events through a single API in 40 countries, 10 languages and eight currencies.
Mark McLaughlin, chief executive of Coras, said: “We’re excited to partner with Frontier Airlines that flies to some of the biggest entertainment cities in North America such as Las Vegas and Orlando. Ticketing is a $150bn industry and Frontier Airlines can now offer tickets that match your travel destination and dates to complete your connected trip.”
Stephen Shaw, third party ancillary manager at Frontier, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Coras so our customers can enhance their travel experience to include the best events and activities. The in-destination experience is now a key driver of customers flying.”
Last week, Coras, which is also the official event ticketing partner of Ryanair, became the latest SeatGeek Open distribution partner in the UK and Ireland.
