Malaysian ticketing platform Ticket2U has teamed up with children’s attraction KidZania Kuala Lumpur.
Under the agreement, Ticket2U will provide a full custom white-label ticketing system, as well as on-site check-in counters, efficient check-in flow for visitors, school groups, travel agents and KidZania operation team.
KidZania Kuala Lumpur, owned and managed by Sim Leisure Group, is a learning and entertainment experience combined in 80,000 sq. ft scaled replica of a real city. It features more than 70 role-playing activities for children, where they can learn about jobs, money and the real world while developing life skills.
Ticket2U’s check in system includes online ticketing, on-site QR Scanning, wristband printing and check-in capabilities to ensure capacity control, as well as a queueless, paperless and cashless experience.
With the announcement of reopening theme parks in December with new COVID-19 standard operating procedures, KidZania Kuala Lumpur has reopened for the public who have been locked-down for more than half a year.
The attraction will welcome limited capacity and follow instructions on safe distancing and disinfection procedures.
It has also introduced new pricing tiers, with babies and seniors above 61 years old to enter for free. It has also brought in regular, shoulder and peak time pricing options.
